Amber K. Rumpf

Attorney Amber K. Rumpf is an associate attorney with the law firm of Kim & LaVoy, S.C.  Prior to joining Kim & LaVoy, S.C., Ms. Rumpf was in private practice with another law firm where she handled criminal cases exclusively.  Ms. Rumpf has successfully litigated suppression motions, evidentiary hearings, trials, and post-conviction motions in both felony and misdemeanor matters.  She is also experienced in handling probation matters, as well as juvenile delinquencies.  Ms. Rumpf has gained a reputation as a strong and passionate advocate for her clients.  Her zealous advocacy caught the attention of the Office of the Wisconsin State Public Defender who recognized her as a “Private Bar Champion.”  In addition to criminal matters, Ms. Rumpf handles mental health commitments, restraining order violations, and ordinance violations for our firm.

Ms. Rumpf graduated from law school with high honors.  She also received awards for being the top student in several of her law school classes.  Her research and writing ability is exceptional and has resulted in successful results for our clients.

Ms. Rumpf is a graduate of Drake University Law School and is an active member of numerous professional organizations such as the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Waukesha County Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association.

Ms. Rumpf is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

In her leisure time, Ms. Rumpf enjoys reading, running, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
