Beatriz (“Bea”) Andrade Vaz came to Kim & LaVoy, S.C. with a large breadth of legal experience. Before joining our firm, Bea was a licensed attorney in her native country, Brazil, where she not only practiced criminal, but also, civil litigation. Bea now serves as a paralegal in our firm who assists our attorneys with case reviews and analysis, drafting pleadings and motions (legal challenges), and providing general litigation support. Bea is also a client support specialist for our firm who is responsible for assisting clients with any questions they may have, making sure they follow through with our attorneys’ directions, seeing that they enroll in any necessary counseling, and providing a calming voice through what is oftentimes, a very intimidating process.
Bea’s passion is social justice, and she gives back to the community in many ways. She volunteers as a court-appointed advocate for children in the foster care system and often spends her lunches donating blood. Outside of work, Bea loves doing puzzles (yes, puzzles), traveling, and spending time with her husband and cats.
