Christopher Bub is a senior attorney at Kim & LaVoy, S.C. who has practiced law for nearly 20 years and brings a wealth of both criminal and civil law experience with him. With a degree in civil engineering, Chris’ approach to law is both analytical and personal. Chris has extensive knowledge working with expert witnesses and litigating scientific and forensic issues involving DNA evidence, computers/electronic devices, and psychology.
Chris has defended a wide variety of cases across the State of Wisconsin from homicides, sexual assaults, drunk driving, domestic violence, drug offenses, juvenile matters, property crimes, and probation revocation issues. He has also handled mental health commitments, administrative hearings, employment law matters, small claims, and eviction cases.
He is a veteran of the courtroom and has litigated dozens of jury trials and evidentiary motions resulting in either dismissals or more favorable results for his clients. Chris’ accomplishments in the courtroom have impressed both judges and prosecutors alike.
Chris is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Milwaukee Bar Association, Waukesha County Bar Association, and Washington County Bar Association. He has a wide variety of interests including long distance running, reading, MLB baseball, movies/film, science, and astronomy. Chris also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
