Bridget J. Krause

Attorney Bridget J. Krause is an associate attorney with the law firm of Kim & LaVoy, S.C.  Ms. Krause has practiced in the area of criminal defense her entire career and has extensive experience litigating both legal motions and trials.

Ms. Krause has represented people in a wide array of offenses such as drunk driving, domestic violence, drug offenses, sexual assault, and homicide.  She has obtained numerous acquittals or dismissals for her clients and has gained a solid reputation as a skilled litigator and trial attorney.  In 2009, Ms. Krause was recognized as one of Wisconsin's best criminal defense lawyers in an annual survey of attorneys which is published in Milwaukee Magazine.

Ms. Krause is an adjunct professor of law at Marquette University Law School where she teaches trial advocacy and has also presented numerous training programs for attorneys across the state in the areas of evidence, motion practice, and trial advocacy.

Ms. Krause is a graduate of Marquette University Law School and is an active member of numerous professional organizations such as the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Waukesha County Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers.

Ms. Krause is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

In her leisure time, Ms. Krause enjoys reading, playing sports, and spending time with her family and friends.
